Customer needs, issues and concerns are the engine of the design process; it is important to know how to listen.

The building, the place, has its own characteristics given its location, its state of conservation, its history, the climatic and geographical conditions to which it is subject, and also its Genius Loci. Genius Loci is the soul of a place giving it identity and meaning. It is important to keep a sensitive insight. The more you observe the clearer is the essence of the object

We design for comfort, contributing to a good energy performance of our buildings. We employ Bioclimatic and Energy Efficiency strategies in order to reduce the energy consumption and nurture a feeling of well-being inside.

When Rehabilitating, we give preference to non intrusive intervention strategies based on a prior diagnostic of the existing building conditions.
It is important to reduce, reuse and recycle.

As necessidades, questões e preocupações do cliente, são o motor do processo; é importante saber ouvir.

O edifício, o lugar, têm características próprias dadas pela sua localização, pelo seu estado de conservação, a sua história, as condições climáticas e geográficas a que está sujeito, e, também, seu Genius Loci, isto é, o espírito subjacente a qualquer lugar que lhe dá identidade e sentido. É importante um olhar atento. Quanto mais se observar mais clara surge a essência do objeto.

Projetar para o conforto (térmico, qualidade do ar interior, qualidade acústica e iluminação) e para a redução dos consumos energéticos, proporcionando a adequação do edifício ao clima, através da adoção de estratégias que tenham em atenção a especificidade climática do local, função do edifício e modo de ocupação e operação do mesmo: Estratégias Bioclimáticas e de Eficiência Energética. É importante promover o bom desempenho.

Na Reabilitação a utilização preferencial de estratégias de intervenção pouco intrusivas, minimizando o impacto sobre o edifício pré-existente, os custos associados à realização da empreitada e os impactes ambientais. É importante reduzir, reutilizar, reciclar.

Filipe Campos

Graduated as Civil Engineer in 2006 in Minho University, UM.

Worked as Construction Director in Mota-Engil and FDO. Worked as Supervisor in GIBB Portugal. Since 2014 is CEO and CFO of Magnético.

Marta Campos

Graduated as an Architect in 2002 in Porto University, FAUP. BIM manager with expertise in building renovation and bioclimatic architecture.

Since 2014 is CEO and COO of Magnético. Vice-Chair of buildingSMART Portugal. Teacher at BIM A+, European Master. Teacher at “Curso BIM”, Portugal based course.
